I’m almost out of words to describe the wonderful experiences of the day. We started off with a tour of an Amish school, farm and country store. I ate the most delicious pretzel I’ve ever imagined! We enjoyed learning about the ingenious farming & lifestyle of the Pennsylvania Dutch. We loved the horses & buggies, the plows pulled by horse power, and of course the yummy food. After a two hour bus ride we arrived in Philadelphia- the original Capitol of the US. I actually stood in the original hall of Congress, the upper house (the Senate), the lower house (the legislature) and the Supreme Court. We also enjoyed seeing the Liberty Bell as well. We have such an incredible history!
