I learned today why some flights are called “red-eye” flights. We left Portland at 11:30 last night & arrived in Baltimore at 8:30 this morning! We began an amazing adventure, visiting a few Smithsonian museums, then the National Archives, Ford Theater and the memorials for MLKing, FD Roosevelt & Thomas Jefferson. I was struck with our rich heritage, what a blessing it is to live in this amazing country. I’m thankful for the many citizens who donated land and buildings for these amazing places. God really has blessed our great nation!
