Getting Ready for 6th Grade A.K.A. Avoiding the “Summer Slump”





Dear Parents,
Many of you have been asking about keeping up and making progress over the summer. Please see a 
few ideas that may be of interest to keep skills sharp over the summer. Keeping it simple, reading, writing a journal of summer experiences and playing games are all great ways to keep thinking. But 
once in a while on a rainy summer day, you may need some fresh ideas - so here you go! Have a great summer!
